Prostate Stone

This dark prostate stone was passed from my prostate, using Alternative Prostate Treatment, 18 days after the baths began. A prostate stone is "calcified" material which is a buildup of calcium on an object within the prostate.

One theory holds that a stone is the result of the body's attempt to encapsulate an irritant by coating it with layers of calcium. The surface of the stone is very smooth and serves to eliminate the irritating effect of the irregular surface of the irritant.
